Click here for a schedule of the day
Congratulations! All students who advanced to the Region Choir will participate in our Region Clinic/Concert. Students will rehearse music during the day and give a performance in the evening!
When: Saturday, November 2nd @ 9:30 am-5:30 pm for students. Concert @ 4:30 pm.
Transportation: We will meet at Benold @ 8:00 am, and the bus will leave at 8:15 am. Students will need to provide their own transportation home from the concert.
-
Student registration starts at 9:30 am. You will check in and follow signs to your rehearsal room.
-
The concert will begin at 4:30 pm. Lobby opens at 3:45 pm. See back page for itinerary.
Where: GEORGETOWN HIGH SCHOOL PAC Host: BMS Choir (PulverB@GeorgetownISD.org)
Attire: Students will wear this year’s Benold choir t-shirts and jeans during the day, but will change into their formal attire for the concert. Students should keep their uniforms in their rehearsal rooms. We suggest a garment bag or other bag to keep your shoes, socks, belt etc in.
-
Women: The choir program will provide black dresses and pearls. Girls need to provide their own black dress flats (low heel or no heel), and make sure hair is pulled back out of the face. Panty-hose and/or make-up are optional.
-
Men: The choir program will provide a white dress shirt and blue tie. Guys need to provide black slacks, black dress shoes, black belt, and black socks.
See Mr. Pulver or Mr. Gallardo for assistance if needed.
Admission: Free to public! Join us and get there early for a good seat (or a seat at all).
Lunch: We will feed all students a free lunch!
Extras:
-
CD’s of the concert, plaques and t-shirts will be on sale prior to and after the concert. The lobby will remain open until the line for purchases ends. The lobby will open at 3:45 pm.
-
STAY HYDRATED. We suggest bringing a gallon jug of water as you will not be leaving rehearsal often to fill up a water bottle. Austin may still be on boil water alert, so bring bottled water!
-
You will need music to all four songs. Make sure you are prepared to rehearse all of them!
-
If you would like to help us, we need assistance setting up at GHS @ 8am!
