Originally from Patterson, New York, Mr. Pulver graduated from Cedar Park High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas State University, where he studied voice. He has taught at Rouse High School, Cedar Park High School, Killeen High School and Benold Middle School.

Mr. Pulver is excited about starting his 14th year at Benold Middle School - continuing to be a part of the Georgetown community. He currently lives in Georgetown with his dog, Addie. In his spare time he enjoys playing softball, time with dogs, friends & family, performing around town and watching Friends or Seinfeld. He is also a passionate fan of sports and never misses a Yankee game!

Mr. Pulver is the former director of the Heart of Texas Chorus and former performer with Sterling, an a cappella quartet. He has performed and taught in Finland, Canada, and the U.S. and even opened for Cedric the Entertainer once!

"The reason I teach comes from the impact that music has had in my life. I have been fortunate to meet many positive role models in my life because of music, and I wish to give my students what has been given to me."

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Mr. Sawicki also graduated from Cedar Park High School, then moved to Fort Worth to attend TCU to get his Bachelor of Music Education with a Vocal Concentration. He has also served as the choir director at Cobb Middle School in Frisco ISD.

This will be Mr. Sawicki's second year teaching, and he is very excited to call Benold Choir his new home, and to be back in the Austin area where many of his friends and family lives. He's currently living with his dad and his cat, Paris, in Cedar Park. Some of his hobbies include photography, hiking, running, trying coffee shops and restaurants, working out, and baking when he has some extra time.

"I teach because I love music and singing, and it truly is my favorite thing to do. I want to make sure that anyone, no matter how much they know, don't know, how scared, or how ready they are, has a chance to make music with amazing people and have a good time doing it."
