Originally from Patterson, New York, Mr. Pulver graduated from Cedar Park High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Texas State University, where he studied voice. He was a student teacher at Rouse High School, and taught at Cedar Park High School and Killeen High School. His sister, Alyson, is a math teacher and coach in the Dallas area!

Mr. Pulver is excited about starting his seventh year at Benold Middle School - continuing to be a part of the Georgetown community. He currently lives in Cedar Park with his dog, Karhu. In his spare time he enjoys playing softball, spending time with friends and family, and waiting for the next episode of Game of Thrones!

Mr. Pulver is the former director of the Heart of Texas Chorus and former performer with Sterling, an a cappella quartet. He has performed and taught in Finland, Canada, and the U.S. and even opened for Cedric the Entertainer once!

The reason I teach comes from the impact that music has had in my life. I have been fortunate to meet many positive role models in my life because of music, and I wish to give my students what has been given to me.
