Who: Eligible students of "Unaccompanied Minors" Mixed Choir

What: Show Choir Contest/Festival

When: Saturday, March 30 @ All Day (see attached for schedule). Benold begins warm up at 10:30 am and performs on stage at 11:00 am. We will stay for middle school performances and awards from 1:45-2:00 pm. Students are encouraged to stay for the high school contest & awards and get picked up at 7:00 pm, but can get picked up after the middle school awards at 2:00 pm or stay for the high school finals contest & awards that will be over at 10:00 pm.

Why: Because aca-awesome reasons. We are living that aca-life.

What to Bring: Bring a water bottle, cash for lunch and snacks, & clothes for the day if you don't want to wear your performance attire. Bring your awesomeness.

Cost: Registration has been covered for all Benold performers. Transportation will be provided to the event, but students will need to be picked up at Rouse High School. Carpooling is encouraged. Event is open to public and all day registration is $10. You can find more information at www.capitalcityshowcase.net.

Transportation: We will meet in the Choir Room at Benold at 8:45 am, and take a bus to Rouse High School. The bus will leave at 9:00 am. Students will need to be picked up from Rouse High School.

Lunch: We will eat lunch from 12:30 pm-1:45 pm. Bring cash for your own lunch as they will have food trucks and concessions in the cafeteria. The middle school awards start at 1:45 pm.

Evening: The high school contest will begin at 2:00 pm. Students are strongly encouraged to attend this contest as we will sit together and watch some impressive performances. The high school contest is over at 5:45 pm and high school awards will be presented at 6:30 pm. There will be a Finals Round for high school groups at 7:45 pm, and high school finals results at 9:45 pm. Students can choose to stay or get picked up after the preliminary high school contest at 5:45 pm.

Dress: Attire to be decided.

 

We need a few chaperones. Chaperones must pass a background check with the district. Contact your student's director if you are interested in being a chaperone!
