Princess Tea Cast Information

Welcome to A Princess Tea 2019-2020

Required rehearsals

Required rehearsals will be every Monday from 4:15-6:00 pm. If there is school, there is rehearsal.

Each cast member will receive 2 free tickets to be used at any show. Please just e-mail Mr. Pulver will the show you would like to attend and a name for will call.

Costuming

Cast members are responsible for their own costumes. Suggestions include borrowing from a previous cast member, making a costume or renting from a costume shop. We also suggest shopping after Halloween at Party Stores/online.

Ticket Sales

Tickets are $10 and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets need to be sold ahead of time. Please do not advertise that tickets will be available at the door because we will need to plan food accordingly. WE NEED EVERYONE'S HELP SELLING TICKETS! Flyers will be available on the web site for printing or through Mr. Pulver. Help spread the word at churches, schools, community centers, neighborhoods, restaurants, hair/nail salons etc. Tickets will be available through Mr. Pulver or the BMS Choir website. We will not arrange seating at the show… first come, first served.

VIP Tickets

We will sell VIP tickets for $20. VIP will include a tiara, magic wand, and backstage access before the show to meet the cast. VIP will also include reserved seating.

Set Design

If there is a parent who feels comfortable with stage and set design, please contact Mr. Pulver. Otherwise, we are in need of simple elegant decor. We will provide chairs, props, and piano/sound system. The whole play takes place at a castle, usually, a bedroom. Parents and students will be needed to set up the stage on Friday before the show starting @ 3pm.

Food

We will provide every guest with finger foods such as fruit, finger sandwiches, vegetable trays, cupcakes, pretzels etc… and lemonade provided by the district. SEVERAL PARENTS ARE NEEDED TO HELP FACILITATE. We will receive catering from GISD but will provide student waiters/waitresses to help serve.

After the Show

We will be selling tiaras and magic wands this year. If you would like to donate these items, please let us know! Autographs and pictures are free of charge.

Other Stuff

Each cast member will receive 2 free tickets to be used at any show. Please just e-mail Mr. Pulver will the show you would like to attend and a name for will call.
Parents who come to help (will call, food help, make-up etc) do not need to buy a ticket. Please purchase a ticket if you will be enjoying the show and food as a regular patron.
Remember to bring a snack for yourself before the Friday show…
Remember to bring lunch or plan to go get lunch between shows on Saturday…
We will use the choir as our dressing room/backstage.
All Cast and parents are invited to join us for cast party after the Saturday night show.
